We invite you to a rich journey through the north of Portugal and Galicia, a region where the Atlantic meets ancient cities and green hills. The route runs from colorful Porto to the spiritual capital of Spain, Santiago de Compostela. This is a great choice for those who want to get to know two cultures, discover new tastes and enjoy nature in one trip.
The program includes ancient cities, coastal villages, wineries and cultural monuments. All transfers are on modern air-conditioned buses. Accommodation is in 3-4* hotels with breakfast included. You will be accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide throughout the entire route. You can choose a convenient start date for the tour.

Day 1. Arrival in Portugal
- Arrival in Porto.
- Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Accommodation at a hotel in Porto.
- Free time for rest and first walks around the city.
- Return to the hotel in Porto, rest
Day 2. Porto – getting to know the soul of the North
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Excursion program around Porto - an ancient and vibrant city on the banks of the Douro River.
- Walk through the historic centre (UNESCO site): narrow streets, azulejos, old-world atmosphere.
- Visit the Ribeira quarter, a picturesque riverside area with colourful houses and cobbled alleys.
- Walk along the Dom Luis I bridge with panoramic views of the city.
- Stop at the Sé Cathedral and São Bento Station, a famous mosaic masterpiece made of 20,000 tiles.
- Free time on the Douro promenade is a great opportunity to relax, take photos and enjoy the atmosphere.
- Visit to the wine cellar with a story about the production of port wine. Tasting is possible (optional, additional payment).
- Free time in the evening.
- Return to the hotel in Porto, rest.
Day 3. Porto – Braga – Bom Jesus – Guimaraes – Vigo (Spain)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning departure from Porto with luggage. Travel through the north of Portugal, where the country's history began. A day of ancient cities, baroque architecture and knightly romance awaits you.
- First stop: Braga , the spiritual capital of Portugal. A sightseeing tour of the city centre, a visit to the Sé de Braga Cathedral, the oldest in the country.
- A trip to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte , located on the top of a hill. An impressive baroque staircase surrounded by greenery leads to the temple. The ascent is possible on a unique vintage funicular that runs on water (payment on site).
- Next up is Guimarães , the city where Portugal was born. The country's first king, Afonso Henriques, was born here.
- A walk through the old town: medieval streets, half-timbered houses, the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza and the Guimarães Fortress, which offers picturesque views.
- After a busy day, transfer to Spain. Arrival in Vigo , a modern Galician city with a southern coastal atmosphere.
- In the evening, free time for walks along the ocean and dinner in seafood restaurants.
- Overnight in Vigo.
Day 4. Vigo / Extra excursion: Soutomaior Castle and Combarro village
- Breakfast at the hotel.
Getting to know the north of Spain, enchanting Galicia, where green hills touch the Atlantic and ancient legends live in every corner. - In the morning - a sightseeing tour of Vigo , the largest city in Galicia. A walk through the historic center, atmospheric streets, panoramic views of the bay. You will find out why Vigo is called the "sea gate of Spain".
- After lunch - free time or additional excursion (optional, additional payment).
- The first stop is Soutomaior Castle , a medieval fortress set among vineyards and pine forests. A walk through the castle grounds, its gardens and towers will transport you to the era of knights and court intrigues.
- Next, we move to Combarro , one of the most picturesque villages in Galicia. Here you will find stone streets, fishermen's houses on the shore, traditional barns on stilts (horreos) and the authentic atmosphere of old Spain. A walk through the village will take you back in time.
- Return to Vigo. Free time in the evening: you can stroll along the ocean, have a seafood dinner and enjoy the leisurely rhythm of the coastal city.
Day 5. Santiago de Compostela – the spiritual heart of Galicia
- Breakfast at the hotel in Vigo.
Morning departure. We leave the coast and head into the interior of Galicia, to the place where pilgrims from all over the world have been going for centuries, to Santiago de Compostela . - A tour of the city, where every street is filled with history, faith and a special silence.
- A walk through the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medieval atmosphere, stone facades, and ancient spirit – everything here speaks of the Camino and the thousands of people who have walked it before you.
- Visit to the Cathedral of St. James , the main shrine of the city. This majestic temple, according to legend, holds the relics of the Apostle James and remains a place of power and pilgrimage to this day.
- You will learn about the history of the Way of Saint James, the symbolism, architecture and mysteries of Santiago, which combines spirituality with the simplicity of everyday life.
- Free time in the evening. You can stroll through the narrow streets, try Galician dishes in cozy taverns and just feel how this city fills you with inspiration.
- Overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 6. Santiago de Compostela and Pontevedra – spirituality and provincial charm
- Breakfast at the hotel in Santiago.
Morning - free time in one of the most sacred cities of Europe. Enjoy a leisurely awakening, stroll along the quiet streets, visit cozy cafes, soak up the atmosphere of pilgrimage and peace. - Optional morning service at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela , the heart of Santiago de Compostela and the final point of the Camino de Santiago. The altar, drenched in gold, the stained glass windows, the architecture and the spiritual silence all make the visit to the cathedral a special experience.
- After lunch, departure to Pontevedra , another pearl of Galicia.
A walk through the old town with its romantic alleys, ancient houses and warm atmosphere. You will see the church of La Peregrina , a symbol of pilgrims, built in the shape of a sea shell, a traditional sign of the Way of St. James. - In the evening - transfer and return to the hotel in Porto .
Day 7. Porto – free day / additional excursion to Aveiro and Costa Nova
- Breakfast at the hotel in Porto.
Today you can spend the day as you wish: enjoy the atmosphere of the city of Porto or go with us on a bright additional excursion ( Aveiro and Costa Nova , optional, additional payment). - Aveiro is a charming city of canals, Art Nouveau facades, salt mines and desserts. It is often called the "Venice of Portugal".
- A visit to the salt fields, where the extraction of sea salt is part of the local history and culture.
- Culinary master class: we will prepare a traditional dessert ovush-molesh , filling crispy “shells” with delicate cream.
- A boat ride along the canals of Aveiro. The colorful moliceiros , picturesque houses and stories about the city will give you the atmosphere of a real fairy tale.
- In the afternoon, drive to Costa Nova , a picture-postcard coastal village with rows of rainbow-colored striped houses, the Atlantic, fresh air, and photos you'll want to look at again and again.
- In the evening - return to the hotel in Porto, rest
Day 8. Departure from Portugal
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Free time - you can enjoy a last walk around Porto, buy souvenirs or just calmly drink coffee with a view of the city.
- Transfer to the airport and flight home.
