Day 1

Getting to Know Beijing

  • Arrival in Beijing. Meeting at the airport.
  • Group transfer to a 4* hotel, check-in after 12:00.
  • Free time for relaxation or independent walking around the city.

DAY 2

Heart of the Empire: Tiananmen, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Excursion to Tiananmen Square - the world's largest city square, a symbol of the capital of China
  • Visit the Forbidden City , the imperial winter palace where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived for centuries.
  • Lunch with tasting of the famous Peking duck .
  • Excursion to the Temple of Heaven - a majestic religious complex where rituals of sacrifice to the God of Heaven for the well-being of the country were performed.
  • Return to the hotel.

Day 3

The Great Wall and the Yiheyuan Summer Garden

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • A trip to the Great Wall of China - one of the seven wonders of the world and the greatest engineering feat in human history.
  • Lunch at a restaurant outside the city.
  • Excursion to the Summer Garden of Yiheyuan - the largest and oldest garden and park complex in China, which served as the summer residence of emperors.
  • External inspection of the 2008 and 2022 Olympic Games venues: the Bird's Nest Stadium, the Water Cube and the Ice Ribbon .
  • Return to the hotel.

DAY 4

Temples of Wisdom and Old Quarters

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Excursion to the Yonghegong Lamaist Temple - one of the most famous Buddhist monasteries in China.
  • Lunch at a Chinese restaurant.
  • Visit the Temple of Confucius (Kunmiao) , the second largest Confucian temple in the country, and the Imperial Academy of Guozijian , once the main educational institution of China.
  • Stroll through the historic hutong alleys with a pedicab ride.

  • Excursion to the Baiyunguan Taoist Temple , the largest sanctuary of the Quanzhen school (90 USD per person for a group of 2 or more, including lunch and a rickshaw ride through the hutongs).
  • One-day excursion to Universal Beijing Resort - a world-class park with unique attractions and shows (210 USD per person for a group of 2 or more people).

Day 6

The world of entertainment and recreation

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

    Excursion to Happy Valley Beijing (Huangle Gu) - one of the largest amusement parks in China (120 USD per person for a group of 2 or more people).

Day 7

Farewell to Beijing
