Tour program
Day 1: Road to Castile and stop at the Royal Palace of La Granja
- Morning departure from Torrevieja and Alicante
- During the day - travel with stops for rest and snacks (at your own expense)
- A two-hour stop at the Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso , the former summer residence of the Spanish monarchs with a magnificent park and fountains (entrance fee is extra)
- In the evening - arrival at the hotel, accommodation in rooms
- Dinner and rest
Day 2: Salamanca and Valladolid – universities, cathedrals and the spirit of old Castile
- Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning - excursion to Salamanca , one of the most beautiful university cities in Europe:
- The University of Salamanca is the oldest in Spain
- Plaza Mayor - the heart of the city
- House with shells , cathedrals (Old and New)
- Monterrey Palace , Saint Ursula Monastery , Archbishop Fonseca College
- Lunch at the hotel
In the afternoon - sightseeing tour of Valladolid :
- Architectural gems of the Renaissance
- Cathedral , College of San Gregorio , Church of San Pablo
- Return to the hotel, dinner and rest
Day 3: Leon, Astorga and Castrillo de los Polvazares – in the footsteps of kings, pilgrims and architects
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Full day excursion (lunch - picnic included)
Morning - getting to know Leon - a city with a rich history and magnificent architecture:
- Plaza Santo Domingo and Casa Botines - Gaudi's modernist creation
- Palacio de los Guzmanes - a Renaissance palace
- Fragments of the medieval wall and the Camino de Santiago
- Royal Collegiate Church of San Isidoro , Roman Lion , Calle Ancha
- Walking tour of the Romantic and Gothic Quarters
- An external view of the majestic Leon Cathedral
Next, we head to Astorga :
- Visiting the Gothic Cathedral
- Visit the unique Bishop's Palace , also built by Gaudi
- The route continues with a trip to Castrillo de los Polvazares , a traditional village with Castilian character, stone houses and cobbled streets.
- In the evening - return to the hotel, dinner and rest
Day 4: Burgos and Zamora – Cathedrals, Romanesque style and medieval spirit
- Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning - excursion to Burgos , one of the most majestic cities of Castile:
- Walking tour of the old town
- A chance to see the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of Burgos , a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Lunch at the hotel
In the afternoon - sightseeing tour of Zamora :
- A historic centre filled with monuments of Romanesque art
- Ancient churches, city walls, narrow streets with a centuries-old atmosphere
In the evening - return to the hotel, dinner
Day 5: Segovia, Avila and Coca Castle – Ancient Legends and Medieval Fortresses (additional excursion)
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Optional full day excursion (lunch - picnic included)
In the morning - sightseeing tour of Segovia , the pride of Castile:
- The majestic Roman aqueduct is a symbol of the city
- The impressive Cathedral is one of the last Gothic cathedrals in Spain
- Fairytale castle Alcazar , reminiscent of a palace from a fairy tale

In the afternoon, visit to Avila , the birthplace of Saint Teresa of Avila:
- Walking along the medieval fortress walls
- Getting to know the historical center and the Holy Spirit
- On the way back, visit the picturesque Castle of Coca , a fine example of 15th century fortress architecture.
- In the evening - return to the hotel, dinner and rest
Day 6: Return home via El Escorial Palace
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out
- Stop on the way to Torrevieja / Alicante - visit to the El Escorial Palace (monastery, palace and royal residence of Philip II, entrance fee is extra)
- Continuing the journey home
- In the evening - arrival at the departure point
