✨ Decorated the city with creativity and love for traditions
Alicante, 17 June 2025. As part of the week of celebrations of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan, the city of Alicante comes alive again thanks to the window display competition organised by the City Hall for the fifth consecutive year. This year, around 40 shops took part in the competition, and the 20 best ones have already been selected by the jury as finalists.
🔎 The aim of the competition is to revive the streets of Alicante and support local businesses
The event is organised by the Department of Trade, Markets and Restaurant Business with the aim of supporting the local commercial sector and creating a festive atmosphere in the city districts through colourful, themed window decorations.
🏆 Originality and traditions: what surprised the participants?
The finalists surprised the jury with their creative solutions:
- Harmony between tradition and craftsmanship, including a knitted model of the Plaza Los Luceros, dedicated to the Mascleta.

- References to the Bellea del Foc elections, the band Los Gorilas and many other stories from the history of Hogueras.
