Alicante allocates €100,000 for cultural and artistic projects: new grant programme launched
Applications will be accepted until August 22, 2025.
Alicante, 23 July 2025. The Department of Culture of Alicante has launched a new call for grants for cultural and artistic initiatives to be carried out from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026. The total budget of the programme is €100,000 , with the possibility of receiving up to €10,000 per project.
The purpose of the grants: development and diversity of the city's cultural life
According to the head of the Department of Culture , Naima Beldjilali , these grants are intended to:
- Support non-profit initiatives
- Promote diversity in the cultural scene
- To popularize science, art and cultural heritage
- Encourage civic participation
"I invite anyone who has an idea that could enrich the cultural life of Alicante to apply and bring their project to life," Beldjilali said.
Who can participate?
Applications can be submitted by:
- Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs
- Non-profit organizations
- Private cultural initiatives
Each participant can submit only one project. Funding will cover no more than 80% of the total project budget.
What projects are supported?
Support is provided on:
- Organization of festivals, theater shows, concerts, exhibitions
- Organizing film screenings, art and poetry evenings
- Popularization of science, innovation, technology
- Street art, urban art interventions
- Literary and educational projects, master classes
- Research with public presentation of results
- Celebrating anniversaries related to cultural memory and history
- Publishing books, brochures and their public presentation
Mandatory condition : implementation and public presentation of the project in the city of Alicante .
