📆 June 12, 2025, Alicante - The City Council of Alicante has issued a licence for the construction of a new hotel in the La Albufereta area, on Sierra de San Julián, 3-5 . The project, carried out by Cerámica San Román Brotons SL , involves an investment of 5.7 million euros and includes the construction of a two-star hotel with 64 rooms ( 141 beds in total).
🧱 Urban transformation: from unfinished building to new hotel
Parcella, where the unfinished building (left over from 2008) was previously located, will finally have a new purpose. As the head of the Department of Urban Development, Roquio Gomez , noted, this is not just the development of the territory , but also an investment in the appearance of the city , which will allow:
