
Alicante became the center of the international congress on rescue operations Rescue-Ops
🔥 More than 60 elite rescue teams have arrived at the port of Alicante
📍 Alicante, June 2, 2025 - The city of Alicante has once again confirmed its status as an international centre for rescue technologies and rapid response , becoming the venue for the III International Rescue-Ops Congress .
🚨 The event took place at the TMS maritime company , located in the waters of the port of Alicante , and brought together more than 60 professional rescue and military units .
🧑🚒 Firefighters from SPEIS (Alicante Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Service) held a key workshop :
📡 “Victim Localization System and Real-Time Data Transfer” , which aroused particular interest among the participants.
🎯 The goals of the congress are to unite efforts and exchange experiences
💬 Julio Calero , Public Safety Advisor, stressed:
“Our goal is to unify protocols , exchange experiences and introduce new ideas to ensure high-quality service to citizens in any emergency situation .”
📍 Alicante was a pioneer when it launched this project back in 2021 and is now recognised as an international benchmark in rapid response and rescue thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities, trained staff and technical support.
🚁 The most spectacular episode is the simulation of a sea rescue
📅 On May 28, one of the most impressive episodes took place:
🚢 Training evacuation of the crew from the vessel and its rescue on the water .

🚤 Rescue boat 'Leo' (based in Alicante)
🤿 Marine Rescue Service Unit
📚 Conferences, seminars and master classes: theory and practice
The program included lectures and practical exercises both on land and on water. Here are some key points:

🔚 At the end of the event , a ceremonial closing ceremony was held with a memorial service for the deceased firefighters and law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
